Sentient By Elysian exhibition experience at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh

Summary:

LEAP has a way of compressing an entire industry's ambitions into four days on one show floor, and the 2026 edition, held at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham, did exactly that. More than 200,000 trade professionals moved through halls dedicated to artificial intelligence, cloud and data infrastructure, cybersecurity, fintech, healthtech, and smart cities, alongside over 1,800 technology brands, 600-plus startups, and 1,000-plus speakers. But scale alone doesn't win a show like this. What separates the exhibitions that are remembered from the ones that simply took up space is whether visitors walked away actually understanding and trusting what a brand does.

That was the challenge Sentient By Elysian was brought in to solve for two clients at LEAP 2026: ISIT, whose enterprise IT and data-driven solutions run deep and technical, and Cloud Solutions, whose healthcare intelligence platform touches an entire connected ecosystem. Neither story tells itself. Both needed to be designed.

Event Overview

LEAP 2026 confirmed its place as one of the world's largest technology events, and increasingly, one of its most consequential. The show spanned themes ranging from sovereign AI and quantum computing to smart mobility and digital health, drawing government delegations, global enterprise buyers, and a fast-growing base of regional and international startups. For exhibitors, LEAP has become less a place to display a product and more a place to make a case for capability, for trust, and increasingly, for long-term investment in the region.

LEAP as a Vision 2030 Engine

LEAP 2026 technology exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

LEAP 2026 functioned less as a standalone trade show than as a live instrument of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 economic strategy, and that backdrop shaped the standard every exhibitor on the floor was implicitly held to. Riyadh's ambition to build a $130 billion-plus digital economy turned the show into something closer to an investment-closing floor than a square-footage showcase; programmatic scheduling favored live, on-stage deal announcements over static keynotes, and the event reportedly facilitated more than $15 billion in real-time commitments, including sovereign AI infrastructure deployments from AWS, Microsoft, and HUMAIN. The same logic ran through the Kingdom's Regional Headquarters program, supported on-site by bespoke executive hospitality tracks, private bilateral deal rooms, and government matchmaking designed to convert a CEO's four days in Riyadh into a permanent regional footprint. It also shaped the physical floor plan: DeepFest and the "Saudi Made, Developed, Deployed" initiatives sat at the center of the show, placing domestic entities like SDAIA, Tahakom , and HUMAIN shoulder-to-shoulder with global tech giants. And beyond the halls, "LEAP Nights" pushed the event footprint into Riyadh's urban districts, part of a broader push to establish the city as a global MICE capital. For every brand on the floor, the message was the same: success at LEAP is measured not just by footfall, but by how visibly a presence aligns with where Saudi Arabia itself is headed.

What LEAP 2026 Demanded of Every Exhibition

That backdrop raised the bar for exhibition design itself. The static trade show booth is, for all practical purposes, dead at this level of the industry; major players like PwC, AWS, and Microsoft treated their footprints as multi-functional destinations, layering live demo zones, micro-theater stages, and VIP lounges into single spaces rather than laying them out as separate attractions. Real-time event technology became table stakes rather than a differentiator, with frictionless entry systems and live engagement tracking shaping how visitors moved through the show. And a strong physical presence stopped being enough on its own, brands increasingly used their stands to anchor entire press and content cycles, not just a single announcement.

This is the standard Sentient By Elysian designed against for ISIT and Cloud Solutions: exhibitions built for flow rather than static display, for genuine business conversation rather than passive browsing, and for a narrative strong enough to carry beyond the four days in Riyadh.

Bringing ISIT’s Technology Story to Life at LEAP 2026

ISIT exhibition experience designed by Sentient By Elysian at LEAP 2026

For ISIT at LEAP 2026, Sentient By Elysian developed an exhibition experience built around engagement through technology. With ISIT offering a range of AI-powered solutions designed to support different business sectors and processes, the challenge was to create an environment where visitors could discover these capabilities in an intuitive and engaging way.

The visitor journey was designed around discovery through play. As audiences moved through the stand, different interactive technologies gave them opportunities to explore ISIT’s solutions rather than simply view them. A key element was the AI-powered avatar, which responded directly to visitors’ questions. Its digital environment also changed dynamically according to keywords within each conversation, turning every interaction into a responsive visual experience.

This approach continued across transparent OLED displays, where visitors could interact with bilingual content in Arabic and English. The System Overview Ring created another layer of exploration, combining a central touchscreen with an LED display integrated around it. The central screen presented the main ideas and enabled visitors to interact directly with the content, while additional visual elements across the surrounding LED display were designed to create the impression of movement around the ring. Together, the screens transformed ISIT’s portfolio into a more dynamic and engaging way to explore information.

The wider stand also featured ISIT’s VR experience, adding another interactive way to engage with its technology. Purpose-built interactive LED installations supported presentations, while a dedicated LED display within the MOU signing area provided a digital backdrop for key partnership moments.

By bringing together spatial design, interactive technology, responsive content, and playful exploration, Sentient By Elysian transformed ISIT’s portfolio into a journey visitors could actively experience. Instead of simply communicating what the technology could do, the stand invited audiences to discover it through interaction.

Cloud Solutions: One Story, One Healthcare Vision

Cloud Solutions’ presence at LEAP 2026 was built around a single connected narrative, designed to guide visitors from first impression and discovery to interaction and business conversation. Sentient By Elysian developed a unified content strategy that brought data, AI, healthcare systems, and the company’s evolving medtech journey together into a story visitors could navigate across the stand.

The technology showcase brought this narrative to life through engaging content scenarios, tracing Cloud Solutions’ growth within the medtech sector while presenting the journeys of its products and solutions. Rather than treating each technology as an isolated demonstration, content and digital touchpoints worked together to show how different capabilities connect within a broader healthcare ecosystem.

This approach also extended to key business moments. MOU ceremonies with strategic partners were supported by unified digital experiences across the stand’s technology touchpoints, integrating partnership milestones into the wider experience and highlighting the strength and breadth of Cloud Solutions’ ecosystem.

A key highlight was Al Sahab, the AI-powered virtual representative developed by Sentient By Elysian for Cloud Solutions. Designed to create a more conversational way to explore the company’s capabilities, Al Sahab engaged directly with visitors, answering questions and demonstrating how intelligent digital solutions could support a range of hospital-related activities. Through these interactions, the avatar connected the technologies on display with practical healthcare applications and brought another human-centred layer to the experience. Al Sahab was also recognised at the Saudi Event Awards 2026, shortlisted in the Best Use of AI at an Event category.

Together, spatial storytelling, immersive content, AI-powered interaction, and a unified content strategy transformed the stand into one continuous experience, reflecting Cloud Solutions’ vision for healthcare that is more connected, intelligent, and human-centred.

The Sentient By Elysian Approach Behind Both Experiences

What connects ISIT's and Cloud Solutions' exhibitions, despite their differing structures and industries, is the underlying discipline that Sentient By Elysian applied to both: treating experience strategy, design, content, and technology as an interconnected system rather than as separate components.

For ISIT, this approach involved creating a spatial framework consisting of a core and a ring, allowing visitors to choose their level of engagement, from a quick visual introduction to in-depth technical discussions.

In the case of Cloud Solutions, Sentient By Elysian focused on developing a cohesive narrative thread that unified the entire exhibition. This ensured that every part of the space conveyed the company's core message, preventing any section from feeling disconnected.

In both instances, the aim was beyond creating spectacle for its own sake. Instead, it was about enhancing legibility, helping visitors understand what these companies do and why their work matters during a brief walkthrough. This clarity directly contributed to business outcomes, including sharper positioning, stronger engagement with decision-makers, and spaces designed to facilitate key moments such as presentations, technical discussions, and MOU signings, where relationships can evolve into agreements.

Conclusion: Experience as the New Currency of Trust

LEAP 2026 showed how far technology exhibitions have moved beyond simply putting solutions on display. Across both ISIT and Cloud Solutions, the focus was on creating experiences that helped visitors engage with technology, understand its value, and connect it to real applications.

While each project had its own story, audience, and objectives, both reflected the same principle: technology becomes more meaningful when people can experience it for themselves. From interactive discovery and responsive content to AI-powered conversations and business-focused moments, every touchpoint had a role in making that connection stronger.

For Sentient By Elysian, this is where strategy, content, design, and technology come together. It is about creating exhibition experiences that make ideas easier to explore, conversations easier to start, and brands easier to remember.

As LEAP 2026 came to a close, the technology may have powered the experience, but it was the way people interacted with it that gave it meaning.
